We may not have any racing for the month of September but we are still starting very busy with getting out in the community to represent our race team along side some our other race teams as we are 1 family with 1 passion in racing. Come check us out at any of the car shows.

September is all about HOME ICE.

The Panthers open the 2026–27 regular season with four straight games at Jack Burger Sports Complex:
🏒 Sept. 12 vs. Amherstview Jets — 7:30 PM
🏒 Sept. 19 vs. Napanee Raiders — 7:30 PM
🏒 Sept. 24 vs. Frankford Huskies — 8:00 PM
🏒 Sept. 26 vs. Lakefield Chiefs — 7:30 PM

Four games. Four chances to defend home ice. Let’s pack the Jack and set the tone for the season.

💚🏒 A Special Thank You to Northumberland St Pat's! 🏒💚

We want to take a moment to give a very special thank you to our partners, Northumberland St. Pat’s, who have been right there beside us both on and off the track this racing season.

The amount of support we have received from St. Pat’s, their families, and so many of the hockey families who proudly wear their St. Pat’s jerseys both on and off the ice has been absolutely incredible. It truly means more to our team than we can put into words. 💚

Our driver has especially loved seeing the kids make their way to the track throughout the season to cheer him on. It has been so awesome hearing the cheering from the stands and seeing those familiar St. Pat’s jerseys supporting him.

And it was extra special on the three nights he took the checkered flag, knowing there were St. Pat’s supporters in the stands cheering him on! 🏁💚

We have to laugh a little because, during the first two wins, some of our St. Pat’s supporters didn’t realize they could jump into the winner’s photos and by the time we found them, those winner’s photos had to be taken pretty quickly! 😂🏁

So, we were thrilled that this past weekend a bunch of them made it down and were ready for the photo! Unfortunately, a few arrived just a little too late, but don’t worry—we made sure to get them into some photos of our own so we could capture and show just how much support they have given us. 📸💚

It truly means the world to The Thompson Motorsports team to have St. Pat’s behind us. There is something pretty special about looking up into the stands and hearing everyone cheering for our driver—and we all know that he knows we are cheering just as loud for him! 💚🏁

So, from all of us at The Thompson Motorsports, thank you, Northumberland St. Pat’s, your families, and all of the hockey families who have supported us this season.

We appreciate every cheer, every jersey in the stands, every visit to the track, and every bit of support you have shown us.

🏁 The Thompson Motorsports Season So Far! 🏁

Here’s a look at how The Thompson Motorsports season has gone so far, and we can’t wait to see what Championship Night on Friday, October 9, 2026 brings!

Our driver has definitely been learning this new car, getting more comfortable with it every time he hits the track, and he’s even been able to park it with the checkered flag a few times! 🏁

That’s not to say we haven’t had our share of issues and mishaps along the way—but that’s racing! Every setback has been another opportunity to learn, improve and come back stronger.

We absolutely could not have made it this far without our incredible partners and everyone behind the scenes who helps get this car ready, keeps it repaired, and keeps us moving forward. From those turning wrenches, to the people on the headset guiding our driver lap after lap, to our family, friends, friends who have become family, and all of our amazing fans—we truly appreciate every single one of you! ❤️

Thank you to Scott Shaw for putting this incredible race car together for us and giving technical support behind the scenes as we learn more and more about the car. Hours and hours were put into this and we couldn’t be happier to represent the Thinkpath Design Chassis.

Now we have some time to get the car ready more than ever for Championship Night. We know the cooler October weather may make the car handle completely differently than it has all season, but we’ll get it figured out and be ready to give it everything we’ve got!

One more night. One more shot. Let’s finish this season strong!
