Moore’s Boatworks is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator / Marine Technician to join our crew on BC’s North Coast. A major part of this position is learning to safely operate our 35-ton Marine Travelift, hauling and launching commercial vessel, workboats and pleasure crafts at our Port Edward yard.
Experience operating heavy equipment is a major asset. Marine Travelift experience is not required - for the right person, we’re willing to provide training and the opportunity to learn from decades of experience.
🔹 Operate and assist with our 35-ton Marine Travelift
🔹 Haul, move, and launch vessels
🔹 Assist with vessel blocking and yard operations
🔹 Perform marine maintenance
🔹 Work hands-on with boats and heavy equipment
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Experienced or comfortable around heavy-equipment
* Mechanically inclined
* Safety-conscious and dependable
* Confident working outdoors and in a hands-on environment
* Willing to learn
* Looking for long-term opportunity
$30-45+ per hour depending on experience.
