When a sliding door gets heavy, most of what’s causing it is hidden underneath the door.
Those little rollers carry a pretty big job. 😅
When they're worn or damaged, opening the door gets harder and harder, and that extra force can start putting stress on the track, handle, and lock.
That's why our repair isn't about making the door “a little better.”
It's about getting it back to doing what a sliding door should do.
Glide.
If you're ready to get yours taken care of, reply GLIDE and we'll get everything set up for you.

🚪 YOUR DOOR CLOSER DOES MORE THAN CLOSE THE DOOR
A commercial door closer is one of those things nobody thinks about... until the door starts slamming, staying open, or fighting you every time you use it.
A worn or failing door closer can cause:
⚠️ Door slamming
⚠️ Excessive stress on hinges and pivots
⚠️ Door and frame damage
⚠️ Lock and latch misalignment
⚠️ A door that doesn't close or latch properly
⚠️ A potential safety concern for customers and employees
That’s why when we repair a commercial door, we don't only look at the part that’s obviously broken.
We check the entire door system.
In this case, the old closer had seen better days. We replaced it with a new commercial door closer and properly adjusted the closing and latching speeds.
The result?
✅ Smooth closing
✅ Controlled movement
✅ Proper latching
✅ Less stress on the door and hardware
✅ Better long-term performance
A $100 adjustment today can sometimes prevent a much bigger repair tomorrow.
If your commercial door is slamming, closing too fast, too slow, or not latching properly, it’s trying to tell you something. 🔐
Repair before replace. Done right. Done On Point.

WHY A CONTINUOUS HINGE INSTEAD OF PIVOTS?

A commercial door is heavy, and every time it opens and closes, that weight puts stress on the hardware holding it in position.
Pivots support the door at only a few points.
Over time, heavy use, people holding the door open, wind, or abuse can put a lot of stress on those small areas. Once the pivots, mounting points, door, or frame begin to wear, the door can start to sag and fall out of alignment.
A continuous hinge works differently.
Instead of carrying the door's weight at a few individual points, the hinge runs almost the entire height of the door, spreading the load across a much larger area.
That gives you:
• Better weight distribution across the door and frame
• Less stress on individual mounting points
• Better door alignment and less chance of sagging
• Smoother operation for the door closer and locking hardware
• Extra reinforcement for older or worn doors
• Longer-lasting repair in high-traffic commercial applications

THE SIMPLE WAY TO THINK ABOUT IT

Pivots carry the door at a few points.
A continuous hinge supports the door from top to bottom.
For a commercial door that has already started sagging or repeatedly coming out of alignment, a continuous hinge can often reinforce the existing door and give it a much stronger foundation without replacing the entire door.
Repair before replace.
Done right. Done On Point.

That squeak was a sign. 👀
New lock. New rollers. Smooth sliding door. ✨

When your sliding door won’t lock properly… there’s usually a reason. 👀🔧

A faulty mortise mechanism can make locking and unlocking difficult. After replacing it, this door was back to smooth, reliable operation. ✨
