Thankyou to all of our fishermen, explorers, bike-packers, and relaxation experts for supporting us on our sixth season. It was a fun year, watching all the fish come in, the kayaks floating around the islands, and the tell-tale dust on our adventurer’s vehicles returning each evening. Evenings were spent with the smells of cooking and the unmistakable pizza boxes on picnic tables from our local shop. Thankyou for that; so many of you were so kind to shop local and keep our businesses going. Boats were filled from Marny’s gas station, groceries from Bill’s store, and the Foggy Mountain Coffee Shop has become the back bone of our community.

Of course there are so many more that keep this town alive, functioning and happy, but I’m not going to make this tedious by listing them all!

Thankyou all. We hope to see you again next year. Start planning your adventures, however that might look. Until then…

You can get here by kayak from our RV Park. No kayak? You can borrow one of ours. Let this be your first Port Alice adventure, ranked 1/4 for difficulty providing you go at the right time. We can guide you on that.

We even have Kayaks that have room for your dog.

Tomorrow is the big day! Reminders:
*Kids need a free fishing licence for the derby.
*Bring your lawn chairs to the park.
*Marine drive will be closed after the parade between the Green Church and the Sea Vac building (Thrift Shop) for approximately an hour.
Make sure to check out all the activities around town.
