The newly renamed Community & Charity Award goes out to those who are working with their communities and charities throughout the racing season. We are looking for a partner to contribute $100.00 to the winner.
These racers dedicate time in their busy schedules for community events, fundraising for good causes, and donating time to show case a Charity.
Nominees include:
Gracelynn MacInnes, Jacob & Mya Vandebelt, Ethan Thompson & Tanner Munro, for their collective efforts at Touch-a-truck shows in their community, along with various other shows to promote their programs & racing in Ontario.
Edwin Hyde: for community initiative, attending shows, and showcasing the local partners he has through social media through creative videos.
Keaton Pipe: once again completing several charitable fundraisers and team building exercises within the racing community to benefit causes of various means.
Carter Kamrath & CGC Racing: for creating Racing for A Cure's full time efforts through t-shirt sales and donation of all his race winnings to charity in memory of his grandmother.
Dave Evison Sr.: for supporting and promoting the amazing Comfort Bears charity through his racing program; bringing the charity some more notority through their big race at Delaware Speedway this year.
Del Freiburger: once again donating his race winnings to charity, which has been a yearly contribution for Del and his team throughout his tenure in motorsports.
Lucas Chapman: attends & supports multiple community events with his race car even after racing previous nights; utlizing the opportunity to promote his racing to the community through car shows.
Black Magic Racing: the team that has partnered with the Kaydance Ford Foundation and was the primary lead for the Blueprints to Burnouts program, benefiting schools across Ontario, while also supporting the charity in memory of the late Kaydance Ford.
