The staff here at the Salisbury Public Library would like to send a huge thank you to everyone who made this a memorable summer! We had 126 kids sign up for summer reading club!

We also want to thank Clear Choice Auto Body And Towing, Havelock Fire Rescue & the Great Canadian Dollar Store in Salisbury for the donations which helped purchase materials and prizes! Also, a huge thank you to the Salisbury Public Library Board!

We are looking for a full or part time tow truck operator that is a team player and can handle stressful situations.

Tow truck driving experience or mechanical experience an asset. A background in roadside assistance or experience loading and unloading a flat deck is an asset. Our ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers and can manage their time well while on the road.

Must have a good drivers abstract and clean criminal record.

Must live in the Petitcodiac or outskirts of Petitcodiac area.

Main duty and responsibility:
Respond to accidents, break-downs, and other roadside incidents. Must have or get your endorsement for air brakes .

What's on my mind , you say .. hmmmm well just want to give a shout out and thank you 🙄to a driver at Midland Transport for flying by us while trying to load a vehicle on the side of the road . Lights flashing and lots of room to move over but you chose not to and far as speed , you never even gave it a thought to attempt to slow down and we could be seen for a long ways . Some people shouldn't be on the road 🤬

4 cameras installed in junkyard , NOT AT OUR SHOP LOCATION, just to make that clear , our shop is well protected and we get notified every time someone comes in our yard . So sick of people going in and stealing stuff and throwing stuff all over the ground that we have to pick up !! I will be posting pictures of people and vehicles that are in there without our permission so be warned !!

I did a post yesterday about people not slowing down and people have said on previous posts , pull over lots , put pylons out . Well I wanted to say this . This was this winter , this truck broke down, put his four way flasher on and put pylons around the back of his truck to indicate he was broke down . He did everything right !This second vehicle then slammed into the back of him anyway. It is beyond me how someone runs into someone that is parked on the shoulder of the road but it happens and this is why I post these so often as it happens more than people realize. Then imagine if this was emergency workers or a tow truck driver standing out helping people , this would of been a completely different outcome .Thank goodness no one was hurt this time but it could of been a whole different outcome . Please people SLOW DOWN AND MOVE OVER when you see people on the side of the road . I say it a lot but it's my friends and family trying to help people on the side of the road or it could be you broke down and I just want everyone to come home safe !!

How nice of this guy flying by us!! Then when we put our arms up for you to move over as the road was slushy and then you proceed to give us the finger .Very classy that you have no regard for someone's life on the side of the road !!!
