When something comes this close to your family, your friends and your neighbours, you're reminded pretty quickly what matters most.

People. Home. Community. ❤️

Five members of our Neighbourhood Auto Body team were affected by the Summerland evacuation: Sean, Sarah, Richard from Peachland, Randy, and Paul.

The fire came frighteningly close to Sarah's house, but most of our team is now safely back home. Sean is still waiting patiently.

Thinking about everyone in Summerland who is still waiting, still displaced, or dealing with much more than we are right now.

After 37 years in business, weeks like this have a way of putting even that into perspective.

Neighbours first 🤝

Over $94,000 raised for the BC Children's Hospital Foundation!

Proud to support events like this that make an impact... Over $1 Million raised by Bats for a Cause overall!

Thank you to Corey and The Ballers for reportedly having "a lot of fun"

Bats for a Cause Slo-Pitch Tournament: The Impact

We're on a quest to ensure kids receive the best health care imaginable. 1 million kids across the province-including some of the sickest and most seriously injured, count on the hospital for specialized care they often can't receive anywhere else.

Since its inception in 2008, individuals, teams, corporations, sponsors and many volunteers have helped raise just over $1 MILLION in support of BC Children's Hospital.

"My dad always used to sponsor events at school when I was growing up. It made me proud and it felt so cool!"
- Paul Ash

Now, Paul wants his own kids to feel the same way ♥️

So when the PAC needed volunteers for its Trout Creek Colour Run, he not only joined the team of sponsors but of course he showed up, grabbed his own company colours, and may have enjoyed himself even more than the kids. 😂

Most people see Paul as the driven business owner who takes his work seriously. He has to! Because he helps people going through a tough time to get them back on the road safely...

But underneath that is a family man, a big kid, and honestly… a bit of a teddy bear.

He cares deeply about showing his kids that community isn’t something you simply live in.

It’s something you participate in.

A huge thankyou to all the volunteers who created such a fun day... and to the kids who ran their little hearts out. 💦

Paul’s guilty pleasure?
A Saturday night at Penticton Speedway!

For an auto body collision repair shop owner, this is basically the Super Bowl. Cars, noise, a little chaos, and a whole lot of “well… we could fix that.” 😅

But really, he keeps coming back because the kids love it, the energy is awesome, and it’s one of those Penticton things that feels different from the usual weekend plan.

Drive up. Bring the family. Grab some snacks. Watch the track come alive. Talk about it all week after.

Big shoutout to Penticton Speedway for keeping this kind of local fun alive in our community.

Monster Trucks are rolling in this weekend, July 4 & 5. If you’ve never been, this is your sign to check it out.

When our family gets together there are at least 2, & sometimes even 4 or 5 work trucks and business vehicles in the driveway.

Why?

Because serving this community has been part of our family for decades.

Neighbourhood Auto Body has been helping Penticton through stressful days since 1989.

And my brother at Flambé At Home has been providing memorable moments and making dinner time easier for you since 2010.

Different businesses in completely different industries, but with one thing in common...

We're incredibly grateful to earn your trust! Thats what matters to us here in Penticton.

Seeing both businesses recognized again this year reminds us that showing up for the community, year after year, really does matter.

Thank you, Penticton, for supporting local businesses like ours.

We're proud to call this place home. ❤️

And congratulations to my brother, chef Jordan, for continuing to improve his business and help more people in the community.

This feels too good Penticton! Thank you!

Full circle moment for this proud local business owner. You gotta read this story from the 90s!

Twenty-seven years ago, two Pen High kids built a go kart together in Metalworks class.

One of them (Devin Burroughs) went on to become the current Pen High Metalworks teacher. The other (Paul Ash) has run Penticton's number one auto body repair shop for decades.

Recently, Mr. Burroughs called Paul and said — want to team up again?

100% YES!

We painted the go kart his Grade 12 class just built. For free. No hesitation.

To Mr. Burroughs' metalwork students: the craftsmanship on that kart is something to be proud of. Hearing that from the owner of the top collision shop in town? Take that seriously.

And to Mr. Burroughs — thank you for the call. It was my honour to support the next generation of local builders, on a project we once took on together.

Penticton builds people. Proud to give back.

This thing is so cool! Proud to partner up and put our logo on this beast!

Who has seen a go kart like this before? Some metalwork genius at play.

The entire project is so fun and getting to help out brought back some Pen Hi memories for a lot of our team!

Because if we're doing our job properly, you'll never see most of the work that goes into a repair.

You'll just notice that everything feels right when you get your vehicle back.

That's the goal.
