For those recovering and rebuilding after the Bald Range Fire, Penticton Toyota is hosting a free Insurance Recovery Community Q&A on Tuesday, August 25 at 6:00 PM.

Greenspan Adjusters International will lead the evening, with invited professionals available to help answer questions about insurance claims, rebuilding, personal property, living expenses and more.

This event is for residents, farms and businesses that have suffered severe or total losses.

For those facing the difficult process of recovering and rebuilding after the Bald Range Fire, we’re bringing together people who can help answer some of the many questions that come next.

Penticton Toyota will be hosting an Insurance Recovery Community Q&A on Tuesday, August 25 at 6:00 PM.

Greenspan Adjusters International has offered to lead the evening, with invited guests including insurance adjusters, local builders, architects, contractors, engineers, District of Summerland and RDOS staff.

Topics will include insurance claims, personal property claims, rebuilding, additional living expenses, policy terminology and more.

This event is intended for residents, farms and businesses that have suffered severe or total losses as a result of the Bald Range Fire.

As wildfires continue to impact communities here in the Okanagan and across Canada, we’re proud to share the news that Toyota is contributing $100,000 to the Canadian Red Cross Canadian Wildfire Fund to support wildfire relief and recovery efforts across the country.

The Canadian Wildfire Fund helps provide urgent support to people and communities affected by wildfires, while also supporting longer-term recovery and preparedness.

With the impacts of wildfire being felt so close to home right now, we’re grateful to see support going directly toward the people and communities who need it.

Our thoughts remain with everyone affected, those who have been displaced, and the firefighters, first responders, volunteers and community members working tirelessly to keep people safe. ❤️

TORONTO, August 13, 2026 – As the wildfire situation continues to worsen across Canada, Toyota has announced it is donating $100,000 to Canadian Red Cross Canadian Wildfire Fund to support relief efforts in affected communities.

While we were unexpectedly closed on Monday, a lot was happening behind the scenes for our employees many who have been affected by the wildfire. Even in the middle of such a difficult time in the Okanagan, we have seen so many positive things during very rough week as the region steps up to help out one another.

While we were closed, an individual reached out after blowing a tire while evacuating from the Summerland fire. He asked if we could help and whether we had the tire size in stock. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the size, and there was no local availability.

We searched our bins and lot for anything that might work and thought we had found a set that could work temporarily. Unfortunately, once we had the vehicle and tires in the hands of a technician, the tires were deemed a no-go.

Our parts team then took to the phones, calling shops around town until we finally found replacement tires. A huge thank you to Subaru of Penticton for helping us help a member of our community. Shout out to Dennis!

We are so proud and grateful for our team. Yesterday, our appointment coordinator, manager, service advisor and apprentice technician, all of whom have been evacuated themselves, came together with the help of another dealership that has no relation to our own to help someone who was in similar shoes.

In times like this, we are not just customers and businesses. We are members of a tight-knit community, and we look out for one another. ❤️
