Understanding warranty is sometimes confusing. I will explain how it works in my world. Our shop is pretty exclusive with NAPA. Excellent brand and the best backing for their parts. As a NAPA aproved repair facility, we take pride in offering the best parts for your vehicle. Sometimes these parts fail, hence the need for warranty. If you have something repaired at our shop, and this goes with any shop, and something happens where a part fails, you must make your FIRST call to that shop. In my case, I would contact NAPA, and if it's 40km and under away from my shop, they will have it towed back to me, cover the part 100% and also pay me as a shop to cover my labor. No questions asked. If you are further out, they will have it towed to an authorized NAPA repair facility and if you are let's say in Waco Texas, and they don't have the part, they will cover accommodations and the repair at the closest shop to you. Now this is if you are my customer.....or if you are a customer of another NAPA approved repair facility you will receive this treatment. But at the first signs of something going wrong, you must call the shop that did the work first. In my case, I call NAPA immediately and if it's after hours, I will take care of all the details and worry about squaring up with NAPA when they open. They have my back 100% so I have your back 100%. So please, no matter how small the situation is, let's deal with the issue before it becomes out of hand. We are in this business to make customers happy, not turn them away feeling they are not important or that their situation isn't significant enough. We at Parksvile PetroCan appreciate you!!! Thank-you.
