Small changes in the way your vehicle drives can be easy to put off.

A pull to one side.
A new vibration.
A knock over bumps.
Steering that suddenly feels different.
Brakes that don’t feel quite right.

None of those automatically mean a major repair but they are worth paying attention to.

Catching a developing issue early can often mean less inconvenience than waiting until it becomes harder to ignore.

Van Isle Powerstroke Service works on brakes, steering, suspension and general automotive repairs for everyday cars, SUVs and pickups, as well as diesel trucks.

If something has changed, give us a call and let’s have a look. 🔧

☕ Apparently it’s National Coffee Day, which feels like a pretty important day in a garage.
Every team has one:
The “just one” person.
The “make it a double” person.
The “still waking up” person.
And, of course, the person nobody should ask how many they’ve had. 😂
We’re not confirming who’s who at Van Isle.
So, how many coffees does it take to get your day properly started? ☕

The best time to figure out where you’ll take your vehicle probably isn’t when something suddenly goes wrong.

Knowing your local garage ahead of time makes things a lot easier.

Van Isle looks after everyday cars, SUVs, trucks and diesel vehicles right here in Parksville.

Good to know where to go.

Most vehicle problems don’t begin with a dramatic breakdown.

Sometimes it’s a new noise. A warning light. A vibration. Or just a change in how the vehicle feels to drive.

Those small signs are worth paying attention to.

If something feels different, have it checked before you start guessing what it might be.

A local garage should feel like a local garage.

Real people, familiar faces, and a place where you can ask questions and know who you’re dealing with.

That’s what Van Isle is about, a real shop, right here in Parksville, looking after the vehicles local people rely on every day.

🍂 Apparently fall has arrived... and so has the fall photo trend.

So, naturally, we had to see what happened when Jordan and Van Isle got the autumn treatment.

Is it exactly how fall looks outside the shop today? Maybe not. 😂

Is Jordan suddenly doing seasonal photoshoots between jobs? Also no.

But fall has officially arrived on Vancouver Island, so we'll take it.

What's your favourite part of fall on the Island?

If something doesn’t feel right with your vehicle, guessing usually isn’t the best place to start.

At Van Isle, the focus is on understanding what’s actually going on before deciding what needs to be done.

Don’t guess. Diagnose.
