Cleaning the in cab temp sensor did repair this problem. I don't have the exact description of operation with this particular system. But it seems like temperature differential between the in can temp, outside and ambient temp and the evaporator temp was the cause. There were no codes set in the system. This is my assumption on how the hvac module is programmed to interpret that data. Anyway. Ac works great now with no shut downs.

05 toyota with a cam circuit code. As stated in the video. Pattern was good but low amplitude and extremely low idle. Fixed the idle issue and the amplitude problem with it.
We tested the harness as a learning expedition for one my techs. All good there.
Said it before. Will say it again. If your doing diagnostics. You need a scope.
Anyway. This one is getting given back to the customer with a data recorder just incase something else is going on.

Everything else is substandard imo.
Lifted. Lowered. Stock. Medium duty trucks.
These machines allow us to get the car striaght and save tires.

Never changes parts based on a code. Only change parts once the problem is pinpointed or identified as the concrete problem.
In this case we had a hard part failure. Not a harness. Not a sensor. Not a module. Codes. Pid data, component testing and knowledge are what will find the problem.
Not shot gunning parts on the vehicle.

The video says it all. Engine driven vacuum pump decided to gr***de itself. We popped a new one in. Power brakes restored.
