ON OFFER | 1982 Porsche 911 SC Targa. Paint to Sample Signal Yellow on Black. This car has been known to us for near 30 years. It originally belonged to a well-known local Porschephile that was involved in the inception of our local PCA region. Interestingly, he ordered it new to match his 1972 Targa of the same colour. We recommissioned this Targa a couple of years ago, after it spent some time away from our care with its second owner and it is coming back to us again now for sale publicly. This is an exceptionally nice SC Targa in a beautiful and unique specification. It’s professionally sorted out, drives exceptionally well, it’s ready to enjoy and looks incredible. TESTAROSSA | Adventures in resuscitating broken down vintage Italian sports cars are never straight-forward. The legacy of some previously poorly-executed repairs and upgrades combined with some fundamental maintenance and reliability repairs results in a more circuitous process to get where you’re going. When you’re unwinding everything from brake rotors mounted the wrong way round to removing excesses of silicon from valve covers and finding a water pump failing at quite literally the last possible moment, you can’t leave many stones unturned if you want to have any confidence handing a client back a car, and feel ok giving them a bill.

Whilst we are decidedly a Porsche specialty operation, we have willingness to apply our team’s vast skill to new challenges and we all love learning here. It’s with a good bit of pride that we put our skills to work in not just turning wrenches (of which we are very good, if I do say so myself), but parts sourcing, fabrication and even product development when tackling something outside the norm. No cam bolt washers available from Ferrari? Not a problem, we made our own (and you can buy them too!).

This icon will be back in action soon operating better than it has in an incredibly long time.

Making something good out of what is often a mess. I think that’s the best way to look at what we do. Some unbelievably bad work has been done, and will continue to be done, all over the world in all parts of life. Not just with Porsche’s, I know.

Fortunately, we find it rewarding to make things right. It’s often slow, laborious, exhausting and expensive, but when it’s done….. well, as the saying goes there’s nothing better than the feeling of a job well done.

ON OFFER | The final configuration of our in-house project resto mod 996 Turbo is finally and truly going for sale. We have put it out there in the past as available, but after a final fettling over the last few months, we are committed to finding a new home for it. We are very proud of this project, and are certain a new owner is going to be blown away by the car in every respect. It’s about to be returned to the USA and before it makes its way onto Bring a Trailer, we will give one last crack at it to our Canadian followers here before it heads south in January and a bit of a heads up to our US followers that it’s going to be titled in the USA again soon. ON OFFER | 2016 Porsche GT4. Carrara White. Under 19K Km. A phenomenally clean and unmolested example of the most fun Porsche sports car of recent history (go ahead and fight me on this). If the above description isn’t enough to spring for this one, look at the options list. Anything remotely desirable was included.

* Sport Bucket Seats, check.
* PCCB’s, yessir.
* Full leather interior, uh huh, and with deviated red stitching to boot.

Never mind all the rest of it including carbon fiber interior trim, fire extinguisher, carbon illuminated door sills, aluminum pedals, etc. The original buyer simply said ‘yes’ when asked if they would like quite literally anything on the options list.

If you want the best example of the 981 GT4 (which, let’s all agree, is the best GT4), then reach out with $139,900 CAD plus taxes and it’s yours and there is no way you will be disappointed with this example.

997 GT3 RS | We bought this very interesting 997.1 RS from Germany this Winter for our own collection as our latest example and have spent the last few months getting it sorted out to our standards.

These are our absolute favourite modern 911 for a host of reasons, and this one has to be one of the more interesting specification ones we’ve seen. Being a German market Clubsport car is special for us here in North America as we didn’t get the plastic rear glass, carbon fibre Carrera GT seats and cage on this side of the pond, but layer up the other interesting options and it feels somehow a tad more special than most. Ordered with the exterior model designations (stickers) deleted, but the wheels were still ordered in the contrasting RS Orange and the cage also finished to match. Extended full leather interior is uncommon in a Clubsport but it really does bring up the cabin feel substantially as it is a road car, and not a racing vehicle. Exterior colour painted air vents, PCM and Centre console also give it a bit more impact inside that’s uncommon and very welcome compared to the standard uninspiring Volcano Grey finish. It’s also the only one we’ve seen ordered with the factory battery kill switches, which is pretty cool for those nerds like us.

This one feels pretty special and with 997 GT3’s finally getting their moment in the market spotlight, we strongly urge those of you that haven’t scratched the itch to own one of these to get on the train before it’s left the station. Not exactly sure if we are going to sell this one yet, but as always we have a handle on the market for these cars worldwide and transact most of them out of the public eye, so feel free to reach out.

SUMMER TIME | It’s been a hectic Spring this year. Testing our new-old 996 Cup after the last many months of sorting out. Working out the fine details on our latest in-house 997 RS Clubsport. Dialing in a myriad of involved repairs on every generation of Porsche is just our day to day. 356’s emerging from decades of slumber and returning to the road, 992 GT3’s in for ST PASM coding modifications and track upgrades, remedying severe water damage on an incorrectly stored 993, you name it, we are doing it.

As for sales, we have been quiet on this front. The primary focus has been our mechanical work, but we do have a bunch of interesting Porsche’s coming to market. Stay tuned, or get in touch if any of these strike a chord:
