Jay's Auto Centre is currently seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Service Advisor. As a Service Advisor, you will be the main point of contact for our valued customers, assisting them with their automotive service needs and ensuring a smooth and satisfactory experience. Duties and Responsibilities:
✔️Greet customers and promptly address their automotive service inquiries or concerns, either in person or on the phone
✔️Schedule service appointments and maintain an organized and efficient service schedule
✔️Provide accurate and detailed explanations of recommended repairs and services, including associated costs and timeframes
✔️Collaborate with the service team to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of repairs
✔️Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally
✔️Maintain accurate service records and documentation for each customer's vehicle
✔️Develop repair estimates by taking the cost of materials, supplies and labour into consideration
✔️Finalize invoices and receive payment for work completed
✔️On occasion, drive customers and pick up/deliver vehicles
✔️Order parts from a wide variety of suppliers
✔️Input invoices and payments into the accounting software on a daily basis
✔️Assist with advertising and marketing via social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
Qualifications:
⭐️Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and team members
⭐️Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
⭐️Strong knowledge of automotive systems, repairs, and maintenance practices
⭐️Proficient computer skills and experience working with automotive service software and systems
⭐️Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
⭐️Problem-solving abilities and the capability to handle customer concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism
⭐️Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Work Hours and Benefits:
This is a full-time position with hours being from 7:30am to 6:00pm from Monday to Thursday. However, occasional Friday work may be required based on customer demand during tire seasons. As a Service Advisor at Jay's Auto Centre, you will receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience. Training and Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. Additional training or certification in automotive service or customer service is desirable. Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs, gained through technical training programs or industry experience, is preferred although not necessary. We are willing to train.
