Yesterday, at approximately 4:33 p.m., an individual took 4 pieces of reclaimed plywood from our business located at 3139 Monck Road, Norland. It was blue/black truck, possibly GMC and they were hauling some type of trailer. The incident was captured on our security cameras. We did not get a plate or clear image of the vehicle as they parked at the highway, but we did get image of the individual. He was wearing red and white heart or maple flag shorts, brown work boots, a blue shirt with the sleaves cut off. He wore sun glasses. He does have facial hair. Both legs were tatted and some on his arms.
We price our reclaimed wood to move, so its not a huge loss to us but it is still concerning.
We are a small, family-run business, and we work hard every day to serve our community and help people whenever we can. We put a lot of time, effort, and care into our business, so it is incredibly disappointing and hurtful when something like this happens.
We would like the opportunity to speak with the individual regarding what happened and hopefully resolve the situation before sharing the footage or reporting it to the police.
