MB C300 in for no start. Upon inspection we found the intake cam phaser to be faulty, the force of the faulty phaser shifted the camshaft tone ring out of alignment causing a faulty camshaft position reading, leading to the no start condition.

In Niverville. Internal plastic failure in the oil filter housing often causes coolant leaks on BMW. That’s why we replace it with a metal oil filter housing to avoid this issue in the future.
