THE NEED

Often young people with acquired brain injuries are housed in aged-care facilities (nursing homes) despite the fact that their physical needs, rehabilitation potential and mental health requirements vary greatly from those of the elderly. There are approximately 2400 families in Ontario struggling with the same challenges Scott Finlay’s family are faced with today.
