The last argument has been debated by Mazda and Volvo for example, comparing their EVs vs. their diesel-gas counterparts and is a highly debatable point around production and lifecycle emissions.
On the rest valid points; except that ICEs have reached 50% of thermal efficiency on racing and Toyota for example has 40% on their 4 cylinder lineup and 41% with their hybrids.
For our current state of the art, hybrids usually win the green argument.
