Throwback Thursday! In 1948, Francis and Bernard Doepker opened a small blacksmith repair and farm equipment shop in Annaheim, Saskatchewan. Before long, brothers Donald, Ted, Ray, and Jerome joined the business, creating a team built on hard work and a determination to solve problems for local farmers.
Known as practical innovators, the brothers earned a reputation for building equipment that met the real-world needs of prairie farmers. Then, when a local farmer challenged them to build a grain trailer that could withstand Saskatchewan’s demanding grid roads, they got to work. That challenge led to the first Doepker highway trailer in 1972, and helped shape the future of the company.
More than 75 years later, we’re proud to carry forward the values that started it all: innovation, resilience, and a commitment to building products that work as hard as the people who use them.
