FANS OF PORSCHE | ICAR EXPERIENCE
Fans Of Porsche, presents the 5 Laps - Participants from the Pilot Seat of the New 2026 Porsche 911 [992.2] GT3 RS at the Complexe ICAR Circuit. The temperature at Mirabel, Quebec is a cool 18°C (64°F) and climbing. Today's weather is not expected to climb over 26°C (79°F), and it is expected to be mostly sunny and mild with comfortable Summer conditions and 0% of rain. The Complexe ICAR Paddock contains some of the world's most sought after Super cars and Race cars. Here is a brief overview, that is not limited to, the following:
⬘ Corvette C8 Z06 (Super car)
⬘ Porsche 911 [991.2] GT3 (Race car)
⬘ Porsche 911 [992.2] GT3 RS (Race car)
⬘ Ferrari F430 (Super car)
⬘ Ferrari 458 Italia (Super car)
⬘ Lamborghini Gallardo (Super car)
⬘ Lamborghini Huracan (Super car)
The exotic sounds from the Field of Super cars and Race cars only gets more intoxicating on every Circuit as they fly by the Complexe ICAR Grandstands. The Complexe ICAR Theoretical Course is now on schedule and weather conditions are now suboptimal for today's track day. Approximately 15-30 minutes afterward we find ourselves lined up for our first track day from the Pilot Seat of the New 2026 Porsche 911 [992.2] GT3 RS.
First things first, lets push this Pilot's buttock comfortably back into the GT3 RS Full Bucket Seat to eliminate any gap between the lower back, check. Next step, lets fix this Pilot's left hand at 9 o'clock and right hand at 3 o'clock on the GT-Sport Steering Wheel to maximize leverage and turning ability for the Circuit, check. Finally, lets follow the Complexe ICAR Professional Instructor's recommendations as we exit Pit Lane and enter Pit Straight.
The New Porsche 911 [992.2] GT3 RS generates relentless traction throughout the corners of the Complexe ICAR Circuit through the utilization of the aggressive Porsche Active Aerodynamics (PAA) System on its front axles. In addition, it is continuously adjusting these Winged Elements beneath its nose through the utilization of the Central Computer to automatically rotates each pair of Winged Elements over 80° in merely 0.3 seconds on each side. Both pairs of the Winged Elements work in tandem with the massive Drag Reduction System (DRS) Rear Wing to consistently optimize its sophisticated Double-Wishbone Front Suspension for aerodynamic balance. As a result, this Race car cornering grip is arguably one of its most profound traits because it delivers the most visceral Piloting experience as a "Porsche Driver" when it feels like it is riding on rails.
Additionally, the New Porsche 911 [992.2] GT3 RS rewards Pilot's like myself through precision over steering input while squaring up in the corners to shorten the radius and target apex 1, 3 and 8. Consequently, the Pilot is then allowed an earlier full-throttle application in the straighten exits. Interestingly, the power delivery from the Porsche 911 [992.2] GT3 RS totally differed from the "Porsche Driver" experience in the Porsche 911 [992.2] Carrera 4 GTS with T-Hybrid, in the sense that "the firm kick to the derriere from the twin-turbo rocketing forward, and then the following rocketing sensation increasingly getting more intense from another kick to the derriere from the T-Hybrid Structure and Function" was non-existent, and much more linear through its utilization of the 9 000 RPM Redline, and its naturally aspirated 4.0 L flat-6 engine. And let's not forget to EMPHASIZE that at full chat the Porsche 911 [992.2] GT3 RS' Lightweight Titanium Dual Central Exhaust System sound's EXTREMELY EXHILARATING at apex 1, 3 and 8 - And that is me saying the least... 🤯
While powering through the remaining Circuits in the Full Bucket Seat, you realize that Race-Tex optimizes stability through the utilization of high-friction textures locking the torso into its Carbon Fiber Shell, this eliminates the need for the Pilot to brace with legs or the GT-Sport Steering Wheel during maximum attacks. Additionally, the shoulder support provides critical upper-body stability for the Pilot, this prevents lateral sliding in high G cornering forces at apex 1, 3 and 8. The Full Bucket Seat centers also feature Gradient Perforations to help with breathability and moisture management during exhilarating track days. Technically, this Lightweight Microfiber also sheds the critical grams needed to keep this high-performance track weapon, TRACK-FOCUSED.
The biggest challenge came from within as the Pilot of the New Porsche 911 [992.2] GT3 RS through chicanes 5, 6 and 7 (green cones on Pit Straight). Following the Complexe ICAR Professional Instructor's recommendations through this particular Pit Straight was 10% challenging, 10% challenging because of my 90% full-throttle application through chicanes 5, 6 and 7 (green cones on Pit Straight). On the contrary, the Complexe ICAR Flag Marshal showed support on two-way radio communications during maximum attacks between turns 2 and 4 as I charged forward through the Field (passed two Super cars).
Chasing the Complexe ICAR Finish Line (checkers) and entering turn 1 was the MOST EXHILARATING at maximum attack (chasing maximum air to produce down force). As a Pilot of the New Porsche 911 [992.2] GT3 RS on his first "track day" experience, I recommend to fully immerse your senses into your experience Fans Of Porsche and , because it is going to be "NEXT LEVEL." 😎
