This car is one of less than 60 Alpina Bavarian Motorsport Alpina?s made
in Australia under license in the late 1980?s.
This exact car reviewed in the 1990 Motor Magazine was highly reviewed
and road tested as a great Motor Sports car of late 80?s and early 90?s.

I am now currently living in Canada and it is with great regret I have to
pass on my dream car and what a car it is!
With extensive service and repair history and great upkeep this car is
great on performance, handling or for that pleasant cruise on a great
sunny afternoon. This car always turns heads.
Alpina upgraded and replaced many parts from the standard 3 series
BMW Convertible including a new 2.7 Litre engine, Revised Alloy
Cylinder Head, Oversize Inlet and Exhaust Valves, Light Weight Mahle
Pistons, High Performance Camshaft, Engine Oil Cooler, Big Bore
Exhaust System, Alpina sway bars, 16 Inch Alloy Ronal Wheels`(5
including on this model) Alpina/BMW upgraded bigger Disc Brakes and
Callipers, Throttle Body, ECU, Bilstein Gas MacPherson Strut Inserts,
Digital Cockpit display and a recent after market exhaust ? 6 in to 2, this
being the only non original Alpina / BMW part. A major repair also
includes a brand new convertible roof only installed 12 months ago, this
being a very rare replacement on BMW?s or Alpina?s of this age!
The condition of the car on the exterior is in a good reasonable condition with only minor set backs. The interior is in need of some TLC with some tears in the seats but is by no means a detterent. I have photos of the interior upon request.
This resulting in 154Kw of power and 279Nm of torque.
This although one of 60 it is a one of a kind car as all Alpina's were made
with custom options and colours!
With very recent tuning, service and repairs in the past 12 months this beast is ready to go!
Recent repairs include a new Distribution Cap, High Tension Lead,
Engine Leads and Spark Plugs, Oxygen Sensor repair and repaired high
pressure power steering hose and power steering flush out.
I can also arrange a minor service upon purchase for peace of mind.
