In 2017 I bought my first classic and had no idea as to who I should entrust it with since it needed a little TLC. I called a guy who had a great reputation, but his shop was a little too far for my liking. I ended up choosing another, where I did one small project, that led to another, that turned into an almost full restoration. When I got it back, I was really dissapointed with how corners had been cut. Things were just not quite right!
In 2020 I ended up calling that original shop back, who to my surprise remembered me very well. As soon as I rolled into the shop, I knew this was the right place. Robert, who I saw as a good mechanic and nice guy, quickly grew into a friend.
4 years later, a COVID lockdown and a fair share of part sourcing difficulties, my car is in the best shape it has ever been. Robert and his team rebuilt my top end and installed my new cam, reviewed the wiring, steering, suspension and took care of so many other projects I came up with. His team have made my vision a reality and I can't thank them enough. For my Canadian friends, specially the Quebecers, R.A.Mécanique is where you want to be, you can take my word for it.
