What a weekend! 🏒❤️

Friday night was draft night, and thanks to all of our fundraising efforts, Team GM Giants representing both MacDonald Buick GMC and Hillside Chevrolet finished 7th out of 28 teams in fundraising for the Heart & Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick. Not bad for only a few months of fundraising!

When it came time to make our pick, there was no question. After having the pleasure of hosting Brian Skrudland at the dealership this past fall for an autograph session, we knew we wanted the chance to spend a weekend with him on and off the ice. Brian is an absolute legend, a class act, and one heck of a guy.

The weekend was packed with hockey, laughs, and memories. Two games on Saturday, a round of golf, and one final game this morning. We may be a little sore today, but every ache is worth it after such an incredible experience supporting an amazing cause.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who bought a raffle ticket, a cookie, a 50/50 ticket, attended our auction, donated, shared our posts, or supported us in any way. The response from our community and the MacDonald family was incredible, and we’re so grateful for every single person who helped make our first Hockey Heroes campaign such a success.

This is only the beginning. Now that we’ve been through it once, we’re already excited to start planning for next year. Stay tuned… we’re just getting warmed up. 😉🏒
