π¨ FORD JUST GAVE THE MUSTANG MACH-E A MAJOR UPGRADE!
The 2027 Ford Mustang Mach-E is taking a bold step beyond everyday electric driving. With a tougher new Trail Package, larger standard battery and upgraded technology, Ford is making its electric SUV more versatile than ever.
ποΈ BUILT FOR THE ROAD LESS TRAVELLED
Available on the Select eAWD, the new Trail Package borrows inspiration from the performance-focused Rally. It brings 19-inch dark grey wheels, Michelin CrossClimate 2 all-season tires, Rally-derived steering hardware and a suspension lift of 10 mm up front and 15 mm at the rear. Think gravel roads, winter conditions and weekend escapesβnot extreme off-roading.
π MORE BATTERY, MORE POSSIBILITIES
The smaller standard-range battery is gone. Select, Premium and Trail models now feature an 88-kWh pack, while GT and Rally receive 91 kWh. Official 2027 Canadian range ratings remain unconfirmed. For perspective, the 2026 extended-range RWD Mach-E is rated for up to 515 km in Canada, versus 406 km for the former standard-range RWD model.
β‘ POWER FOR YOUR ADVENTURES
Trail adds Ford's 400-watt Pro Power Onboard system, with 120-volt outlets for compatible small electronics and outdoor equipment. Available Thule crossbars can help carry bikes, kayaks and extra gear.
π£οΈ SMARTER HIGHWAY DRIVING
BlueCruise 1.5 expands across the lineup. In the announced U.S. specification, it's standard on GT and Rally and available on other trims. The system still requires an attentive driver on compatible roads. Ford has also redesigned the front AWD motor to lower production costs while preserving comparable output.
WHAT ABOUT CANADA?
Ford Canada is promoting the Trail Package, but Canadian pricing, final equipment and official 2027 range figures have yet to be confirmed. U.S. orders are open, with initial Trail deliveries expected in early 2027.
