When we said “Chevy trucks,” we meant business. 💪
Two 1977 rigs from the Lounsbury archives, each with a story worth sharing.
The Armour Bison was the first sold in Atlantic Canada. And that Sullivan’s Chevrolet Titan? Ordered for Herman Sullivan of Blackville with a 430-hp Detroit Diesel, a 15-speed transmission and a custom paint job completed in our own body shop. Its job: hauling New Brunswick peat moss to the southern United States.
The best part? The original write-up says Herman and his father bought their first truck from Lounsbury roughly 30 years earlier.
There’s a lot of local history parked in these two photos.
Recognize a face, remember these trucks or have a story from those days? We’d love to hear it. 👇
