From Crosstrek to Forester… a grateful goodbye

DEAR SUBARU,
Back in 2017, I was looking for a new vehicle. After comparing IIHS ratings, gas efficiency, longevity, and repair costs, I settled on a 2015 Crosstrek. It ended up being my FAVORITE car of all time. I got 191k miles out of her. Until last week… when I hit a deer. SIX airbags deployed, including a knee/shin airbag I didn't even know I had. I'm currently recovering with pretty severe hematomas, but I truly know that without those safety systems, this could have been much worse. I literally walked away. I'm sad to say my car is now a total loss, with over $10k in repairs. I am now, and forever more, a Subaru believer and owner. Knowing what I went through and how my Subaru protected me, I genuinely feel like it saved my life. My new 2024 Forester awaits, and I can't imagine driving anything else. A sincere thank you to the engineers, designers, and everyone involved in building these vehicles and their safety systems. Your work made a real difference in my life.-- JEN

Subaru protected my little girl
DEAR SUBARU,
Last summer, 2025 my daughter was driving her Subaru Forrester visiting friends on the Jersey shore. She was minutes away from her destination when someone drove through a stop sign hitting her front passenger side with such force her car was pushed into a parked car hitting the front drivers side. She got out of her car, yes shaken up but without a scratch! Thank You Subaru!!!! Now on to Subaru #3!!!!!!! – Howie, 2019 Forester
