53% sold - This is an awesome example of Yamaha's legendary RX-1. Please feel free to share to help raise funds for Heart & Stroke.

SLED WAFFLE

SO... I've kicked off my 3rd Sled ride for Heart & Stroke in Memory of John Forbes by raffling off his personal, superbly maintained sled, a 2003 Yamaha RX1. A groundbreaking machine at the time... Proceeds of the raffle going to Heart & Stroke.

Numbers are being offered in the campaign area of NB & NS.
There are 100 numbers at $30 per number, with the proceeds going towards the fundraising of this campaign. I will also be providing a $25 tax receipt for each number sold. So in playing this raffle you also get a tax break.
$25 of each number sold goes direct to Heart & Stroke with the other $5 to cover servicing and delivery (within reason) costs.

It is a 2003 Yamaha RX1 w/ fresh fluids / filter & a brand spanking new battery. It's a 136" non-studded track with a tad over 10,000 miles on it. Which of course is frig all for these machines, with good maintenance along the way.

To play, e-transfers of $30 per number to [email protected] and pm or e-mail me with your mailing address & e-mail to ensure you get your tax receipt for $25 per number played.

3rd Heart & Stroke 'Johnny Ride', in memory of John Forbes.

One of the nice things about Heart & Stroke is their relatively low admin costs from their funds, only 3.4%.

It affects all of us at one time or another, for me there's been the loss of John, my Dad and several others & not to mention all those who have survived. Again, for me that's well into the double digits.
