Fountain Tire is hiring a Commercial Tire Technician!

Are you mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and looking to build a career in a growing industry? We are looking for a Commercial Tire Technician to join our team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with vehicles, takes pride in a job well done, and wants to learn and advance.

What You’ll Do:
• Install, balance, rotate, and repair passenger, light truck, and medium truck tires and wheels following work orders and safety guidelines
• Inspect tires and wheels for proper inflation, wear patterns, tread depth, and damage, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate
• Repair damaged tires, reset and service TPMS systems, and handle specialty work such as nitrogen inflation and studding
• Maintain and safely operate a variety of tire service equipment including air compressors, hydraulic lifts, and balancing machines
• Drive and handle company and customer vehicles safely and cleanly, ensuring loads are properly secured
• Always follow company and industry safety standards, including PPE use and participation in safety training
• Support inventory counts, customer service inquiries, and special projects as assigned

What We’re Looking For:
• Minimum 1 year of tire-related experience (commercial or passenger)
• Valid driver’s license (additional license classes may be required)
• High school diploma or GED is an asset
• Physically fit – able to lift and move 25 kg or more repeatedly
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and a self-starting attitude
• Comfort using computers for safety and certification training (TIA 103/203/603, WHMIS, and more)
