Our next park to highlight as we celebrate Parks and Recreation month is - Spruce Haven Recreation Area🌲☀️

This park has it all and is the perfect place to spend a full day outdoors.

Enjoy an accessible playground, splash park, picnic shelters (available free to rent), washrooms, walking trails (grab yourself some Nordic Walking Poles from the Equipment Loan Program) and plenty of greenspace.

While there, take some time to explore the community garden (managed by Melfort Communities in Bloom), labyrinth, Creative Circle (showcasing the work of the Melfort Northern Lights Woodcarvers), outdoor fitness circuit, or the outdoor rink during the winter months.

Spruce Haven is also home to the ball park, a skatepark, soccer pitches, and an off-leash dog park. It really has something for everyone, all nestled among the large spruce trees.
