This 2016 Ram 6.7 Cummins was starting to be plagued with turbo actuator codes and the owner opted for some aftermarket options rather than replacing with stock. A Fleece Performance Engineering Cheetah turbocharger and Steed Speed exhaust manifold dressed up the engine bay, increasing performance while retaining stock drivability and exhaust brake function.
Prior to the test drive, the notorious intake air grid heater was inspected and it was found to be severely melted and hanging by a thread(video in comments)! A BD Diesel grid heater update kit was installed which I keep in stock and almost certainly saved this engine just in time. Huge thanks to Jory Taylor Homes for letting me take care of his own business investment!
