Your engine doesn’t need therapy. It needs a cleaning.

Okay, let’s explain engine carbon buildup in terms I can actually understand. With direct-injected engines, fuel is injected directly into the combustion chamber instead of spraying over the back of the intake valves.
Sounds great, right? Well… mostly! The downside is that the fuel doesn’t get a chance to help clean those valves. So over time, carbon deposits can start building up on the back of them. Basically… gunk slowly building up inside your engine where you definitely don’t want gunk. 😬

That’s why services like injector cleaning and emissions system services are important. They help keep everything cleaner and operating the way it’s supposed to. Because your engine might be perfectly happy today……but eventually it may be like, “Yeah, remember when I asked for a cleaning 80,000 km ago?”

Our GMC certified technician Austin breaks it down in the video and shows the difference between an older engine with buildup and a new, clean engine. And trust us… you can see the difference.
