This Ford Model A is heading into phase 2.

It is always a good feeling when a classic starts to move from one stage into the next.

There is still lots to do, but the bodywork and paint are beginning to bring the project closer to what it is meant to become.

We are looking forward to showing you more as it comes together.

No one plans for a moment like this.

This Fox Body Mustang was dropped off after being keyed in a parking lot.

With the customer’s claim number in place, we were able to assess the damage and take care of the repair process from there.

It’s a frustrating situation, but this is where we come in, careful prep, proper paintwork, and getting the car looking right again.

A classic can look great from a distance. Get closer and the small things start to tell their story.

This Model A came in with a few areas that needed some attention.

Nothing unusual for a vehicle with history, but the kind of details that are worth noticing early.

When a hot rod or classic changes hands, it is always a good idea to have someone take a closer look.

We are happy to walk around the vehicle with you, answer your questions, and help you understand what you are looking at.

This custom shade started as an idea for one part of the build.

We spent time finding the right depth and balance, then added a fine speckle that stays subtle until the sun hits the panel. That is when the colour starts to show its character.

It is a small detail, but it gives this classic something that is completely its own.

This one is heading home after complete bodywork and paint, and it is always a special moment to see a project leave the shop.

There is a lot of trust in handing over a vehicle that means something to you.

We are grateful to our client for trusting Blackcherry Autoworks with this project and allowing us to be part of its next chapter.

The paint and bodywork may be complete, but the build is only getting started.

A dashboard might sit inside the vehicle, but it still deserves the same attention as the exterior.

The reality is that mixing paint for a classic takes a bit of patience.

We spend time looking at how the colour sits under different lighting, how it works with the interior, and how it carries through the rest of the vehicle.

The small areas are often where a build starts to feel complete.

If something happens to your classic, hot rod, or restomod, the first call is often to ICBC.

The next decision is who you trust to repair it.

Once your claim is open, bring us your claim number. We assess the damage, prepare the estimate, document the repair process, and communicate with ICBC as needed.

With established relationships and experience working with ICBC, Blackcherry Autoworks helps guide your classic from the first inspection through bodywork, metalwork, paint, and final reassembly.
