I finally have a chance to post this meme, with a little story. We were out last night, and saw some guy driving an early model L5P, showing off rolling coal on tip-in. I was interested in know who did his tune. Not cause it's cool, rather to understand who could screw up a tune so bad.
Rolling coal is not cool, and it's not making power. It's literally dumping power and fuel out the tailpipe. The solution is as simple; adjust the target boost to compensate for the added fuel, and turn that smoke in to horsepower.

This is probably the first time I've actually posted anything to this page. But, I figure it's time for an update.
For starters, anyone that follows the page had noticed that I've changed the name of the tune shop. Omega Designs was always the design business, doing drafting, mechanical design, and small fabrication work. The tune shop was just a side-gig to the side-gig. However, the motorsports scene seems to have made a bit of a comeback in recent years. Especially around the newer high powered diesels. Since fall 2022, it's been a busy time with both in-shop and remote tuning work. So much, that it was taking up most of my free time. I felt that the tune shop deserved it's own unique identity.
About the name; unlike the Omega Designs name, which had a deep rooted past, I literally came up with the name on the spot. Twin River Tuning Co. is a subtle shout out the town I've called home for the past 15 years, right in between the North Saskatchewan and Battle Rivers.
