This is the hardest post I have ever had to make.

On Monday May 6, 2024 I lost the love of my life, my best friend, Jason Hill. Anyone who knew him knows how much of an impact this is going to have. His killer sense of humour, his stories…I don’t even know where to start.
He was the king of the charcoal grill (peasants use propane) and could make the best ‘mixed grill’ or ‘sausage sizzle’. His ability to impersonate accents was on fire (except for the Irish accent, I feel like you could have done better there). He was a friend to all dogs but liked to blame the fact that we had so many of them on me.

We did so many things in our short time together - we moved across the country, we had hair brained ideas of owning a small resort in Northern Ontario, crazy Jeep trips that I was sure were going to result in death, but no, you were ‘the world’s best driver’.
None of this is fair. None of it. I am so angry that you have left me. I am also so grateful for the time we had together. I know you loved me. I never doubted it for a second. You accepted me and my personalities - all of them - well, most of them (there are a couple that I can’t even wrap my head around), you loved to watch me knit, you didn’t divorce me after I showed you the 6326th house that I thought we should move to next (even if we hadn’t unpacked yet). You loved my cooking. You hated my choice of music. You will never convince me that Eminem and Vanilla Ice are not music royalty. Mostly, you were proud of everything I did. You loved me.

You also loved Gregory. You accepted him as your own and always introduced him to everyone as your son. He loved you too.

I am going to miss you so much, but I know that your best dog friend, Oliver, was up there waiting for your pets and treats.
We will always have Hookers and Blow, Jason Hill. GNILY.

Happy Easter from all of us at Mackenzie Power Sports!
Although it is April Fools, this isn’t a joke…..Jason is back and at it! We will be open our regular hours, beginning Tuesday April 2nd!

*** Due to a serious medical emergency, Mackenzie Power Sports will be closed until March 26th. We are not usually ones to share details like this, but Jason is in ICU in Prince George. We are still waiting for answers. They have him fully sedated, so he isn’t able to answer messages.
