Started the day off with 107hp 115ft/lbs. using a dyno jet map specifically for open air cleaners and the same pipe that’s on the bike. Ended up with 112.5hp and 120.7ft/lbs. Dialing it in at throttle inputs from 5% to 100%. With a total gain of 5.5hp and 5.7ft/lbs.

These are the results of a tune I performed on an early model V-Rod. Has a Danmoto 2-1 shorty a k&n filter and a PC3. The original tune was straight off Dynojets website. And it had some major Fueling issues between 3000 and 4300rpm. Big Difference after these issues were rectified. See the pics and captions for more details. Improvement of 32hp and 40ft/lbs and 4000rpm and 8hp 4ft/lbs at peak. This will feel like a different bike. It was also crazy rich at mid to light acceleration and cruising speeds. Fixed that too. So better power and increased fuel economy. Win win.

I recently had the pleasure of fully modifying this Kawasaki Vaquero with its proud owner Shawn Kerr. We installed a set of Freedom Performance True Duals for an amazing sound and due to a lack of aftermarket support for air intake mods. We custom fabricated our own, along with a Powercommander 5. On my dyno a stock Vaquero puts out 66hp and 89.6 ft/lbs. After a full tune the bike is now making 79.9 Hp and 105.9 ft/lbs. That’s an increase of 13.8 hp and 16.3 ft/lbs. A huge increase and performance that definitely transforms this bike from a basic bagger to a power cruiser!!!
