Happy 1st Workiversary to Aidan Howlett! 🎉

Aidan works in the back at our Wharncliffe location, where his willingness to help makes him a valued part of the team. He recently earned his G licence, so he can now move vehicles in and out of the shop. As one of his managers says, he "fits in like a dirty shirt." 👕

Away from the bays, Aidan loves working out almost as much as he loves working at Hanford's. 😉💪🏼 He is apparently the “grill master” at Wharncliffe on Fridays. If you ask him about steak and tires, he can likely explain how similar they are: different grades and cuts, sensitivity to heat, and the tread on a tire - like marbling on a steak - can tell you a lot (credit to Josh for the analogy) 😋🥩🛞 He was a great volleyball player in high school (not that long ago!) and won closest to the pin at our last employee golf day, golfing for the first time. ⛳️🏐

Aidan, thank you for all your hard work and a great first year. The future looks bright 🌟

Happy 1st Workiversary to Stuart Zimmerman! 🎉

As an apprentice at our Ridout location, Stuart divides his time between working on vehicles in the back and helping at the service desk up front. Customers may find him booking their appointment and then fixing their car, creating a seamless experience. 💻🚗🔧 He is a dependable teammate, always willing to learn and to lend a hand wherever it is needed.

Outside of work, Stuart loves to travel and also has a keen sense for great restaurants, so when a new place opens up or a trip is on the horizon, he is the one to ask for a recommendation. 😉

Stuart, thank you for your effort, your growth and your positive presence this past year. You are a valued part of the team, and we are proud to have you at Hanford's. 👏

“The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day are both observed annually on September 30th, and they are dedicated to honouring Residential School Survivors, their families, and communities, and to recognize the lasting impacts of Canada’s Residential School system. These commemorations provide an opportunity to deepen Canada’s understanding of the intergenerational effects of residential schools and to reflect on their enduring legacy as part of the ongoing journey toward truth, healing, and reconciliation.

On September 30, Canadians are encouraged to wear orange in honour of Residential School Survivors and their families, and in remembrance of the children who never returned home.” (From Canada.ca)
