Some builds are worth looking back at.

This was Randy’s old F-350, and there was a lot more going on here than a set of mudflaps.

The custom Five Star Kickbacks were only one part of it. The colour-matched suspension and undercarriage details, the stance, the finish, and the way everything worked together made this one of those trucks where the closer you looked, the more you noticed.

A lot of work went into this build, and a lot of pride too.

These photos are from fall 2024, but it still holds up.

A lot of the best builds are not about one part. They are about getting the whole truck to work together.

From Five Star Kickbacks and custom plates to other shop-built details and accessories, the goal is always the same: make the parts fit the truck, suit the way it is used, and look like they belong there when the job is finished.

Sometimes that means one small change. Sometimes it means a truck that gets a little bit of everything. Either way, the details matter. If you have a project in mind, talk to us about your setup.

The standard does not change just because the job changes.

Every truck that comes through the shop gets the same attention to fitment, finish, materials, and the little details that decide whether the finished job looks right or just looks done.

That is the part of the work we take pride in.

If it leaves Five Star, it should be something we are comfortable putting our name on.

Quality shows through in those parts that are not always the first ones you notice. It's attention to those details that take us to the next level.

Our kickback mudflaps are built from 3/8" CNC-cut rubber with stainless backing, solid hardware, and powder-coated components that are made to hold up to everyday use. Things like gravel, mud, road spray, rough weather, daily driving. These flaps are built for trucks that actually get used, not just parked and polished.

Not everything that leaves the shop ends up bolted to a truck.

We built these trophies for the Sherwood Customs Takeover Truck & Car Show this past weekend, and before they headed out, we grabbed a few close-up shots of the finished work.
