Meet Will Clarke - CARSTAR Professional Auto refinisher
With a passion for painting and restoration, Will Clarke is an expert at bringing vehicles back to life with the perfect finish.
Having worked at CARSTAR for 2 and a half years, this isn’t his first time with the team-he spent four years here previously before returning, a testament to his dedication to the craft and the company.
As a painter at both CARSTAR locations, Will takes pride in color matching every vehicle that comes through the shop, ensuring a flawless blend between old and new paint. The process has its challenges, but with a mix room full of toners and paints, he has the tools and expertise to paint two cars at once or multiple parts simultaneously, keeping everything efficient and high-quality.
Beyond work, classic cars are his true passion-with an impressive collection of 13 cars, he’s always working on his next restoration project. When he’s not in the shop, you’ll find him on his 22-acre hobby farm in Fenelon Falls, where he built and renovated his own home. Sharing his space with two cats and a turtle, Will brings the same hands-on dedication to his personal life as he does to his work.
With years of experience, a love for craftsmanship, and an eye for detail, Will ensures every vehicle leaves CARSTAR with a showroom-quality finish-making him a key part of the team.

Meet Tom Phillips - CARSTAR Body Technician
With over 13 years in the auto body repair industry and a lifetime of hands-on craftsmanship, Tom Phillips is a true expert in bringing vehicles back to life. Since joining CARSTAR two years ago in September, he has been an integral part of the team, specializing in bodywork and repairs before vehicles go to paint.
Tom’s background is rooted in skilled trades-before stepping into auto body repair, he spent 27 years building log homes and timber-framed structures. His deep understanding of materials, precision craftsmanship, and passion for hands-on work translate seamlessly into the art of vehicle restoration. He thrives on the challenge of taking a roughed-up car and making it look as good as new.
Originally from Collingwood, Tom values hard work, problem-solving, and the satisfaction of seeing a project come together.
When he’s not in the shop, he enjoys time with his Husky, Piper, who keeps him on his toes with her energy and adventurous spirit.

Technician & Painter
With a decade of experience in the auto body industry, Kevin Wickens is a skilled body technician and painter who takes on every job-big or small-with precision and dedication. Since joining CARSTAR in August last year, he’s embraced the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment in a clean and professional environment, surrounded by a knowledgeable and supportive team.
Kevin is fully licensed, having recently completed his apprenticeship, and enjoys the challenge of bringing vehicles back to life with expert bodywork and flawless paint jobs.
Transitioning from a smaller shop to CARSTAR was a big change, but one he’s fully embraced, appreciating the structure and teamwork that keep things running smoothly.
Having lived in this area his whole life, Kevin values his connection to the community. When he’s not in the shop, he’s busy with his four kids (ages 12, 11, 8 and 3) or enjoying some of his favorite hobbies-fishing and hockey. He’s also spent eight years coaching hockey, sharing his passion for the game and mentoring young players.

Meet Tanya - Shop Coordinator at CARSTAR

Tanya’s journey in the collision repair industry began 12 years ago as a clean-up technician, and over time, her passion for the trade only grew. She joined the CARSTAR Lindsay team over five years ago as an estimator and admin, eventually stepping into the role of Shop Coordinator thanks to her strong leadership, deep industry knowledge, and hands-on approach.
She’s not one to stay stagnant-Tanya thrives on learning and growth, constantly staying current with I-CAR training, Collision University courses, and updates from both insurance providers and vehicle manufacturers. She especially enjoys the teardown phase of repairs, where she gets to uncover damage and help build accurate estimates from the ground up.
Tanya leads with collaboration and respect, always working alongside her team to create a supportive, family-like shop environment. She believes in doing the job right, caring about the details, and keeping the vibe in the shop fun and productive.
What sets Tanya apart is her dedication-to her craft, her team, and the people who trust CARSTAR with their vehicles.

We thought it was time to reintroduce our crew! Meet Sean Hartin - Director of Operations, CARSTAR
With 14 years at CARSTAR and a lifetime of hands-on experience in the industry, Sean Hartin is the driving force behind keeping the shop on track and running smoothly.
Starting his career at just 16 years old as a cleaner, Sean worked his way up through the ranks, becoming a body technician before stepping into his current role as Director of Operations.
His journey is a testament to his work ethic, leadership, and passion for the trade.
As a motivational leader, Sean ensures the team operates like a well-oiled machine. He values mutual respect, teamwork, and efficiency, knowing that when everyone understands the process, great results follow. He’s proud to work alongside a dedicated team that knows what needs to be done and gets it done right.
Born and raised in the area, Sean has deep roots in the community and appreciates the opportunity to work for Paul Cross, a business owner who genuinely cares about his employees.
