Why Wednesday 💙

Why do we love Lethbridge? Well… Whoop-Up Days obviously! 🤠

Being at the parade this week was a pretty great reminder of just how many amazing businesses, cultural groups, support organizations, and community-minded people we’re lucky to have right here in our city.

And then there’s everything else… 🏔️
We’re just a short drive from the mountains, we have an incredible mix of local restaurants serving food from all over the world, and it feels like there’s a different cultural event happening almost every weekend.

This "Why Wednesday" is a little more personal.

The Surface Co. didn’t start because PJ needed another business. 😂 She already had a pretty great one with Protex Lethbridge.

It started because she knows that the business world changes. The automotive industry changes. And she recognized that she and her crew had a whole lot of skills that could be used for more than just vehicles.

Then she found this pretty amazing product that took the skills, tools and experience they already had and opened up a whole new world of possibilities. 👀

And somewhere in all of that, I was ready for a career change.

PJ and I had been friends forever, but had never actually worked together. So we figured…why not? 😂

I got to bring my own experience and skills to the table to help turn an idea into an actual business — and, maybe most importantly, help people see just how much is possible with architectural vinyl.

Because once you start looking at a space differently, the possibilities are pretty exciting.

So why did we start The Surface Co.?

To diversify.
To make beautiful things.
And, honestly, to finally get to do something together. ❤️

And I think we're just getting started.
