The C2 Corvette project is finally wrapped up. This one definitely snowballed along the way. We ended up touching just about every part of the car.

Starting with the wiring, we installed a complete American Autowire chassis harness, replacing and updating every wire in the car. The interior received new seats, door panels, center console, power windows, steering column and wheel. We also added Dakota Digital RTX gauges, Vintage Air HVAC, and a retro-style radio head unit. The cockpit is now set up for both comfort and function, with modern upgrades throughout.

Under the hood, the original 350ci small block was replaced with a BluePrint 427ci LS, backed by a McLeod RST clutch and TKX transmission. Custom-built headers and a side-pipe exhaust from BBE give this car a unique sound and an aggressive look. The differential was upgraded with new gears, a locker, and the correct driveshaft to handle the added power.

We also upgraded the braking system with HydroBoost and Wilwood calipers, along with a new cooling system, serpentine drive setup, and fuel system. Countless other parts were updated along the way.

With just under 500 RWHP and a manual shifter in your right hand, this little rocket ship is an absolute riot to drive, guaranteed to put a smile on your face every time you get behind the wheel.

We’re looking forward to seeing it out at some shows this year.

Happy Father’s Day to all those that make the cut, to those that don’t, hopefully you get to know one day what is so special about it. Most of our dads are our heroes and role models, for me he’s the one I can thank for my addiction to HotRods and for keeping me out of most trouble. As an ode to and because I love messing with him, we came up with a limited edition shirt. I might know him as dad but others know him as the Crazy Uncle Larry. One other cool part of this series of shirts is if you don’t know he hates sleeves about as much as he hates eating his vegetables! He personally cut off the sleeves of each and every one of these shirts. Hope you get to spend time with those that mean the most and thanks Pop for putting in the effort it took to make me!

The 2026 F150 project is about wrapped up now. With the 2.5” lift kit, wheels and tires, body matched grille and bumpers, Raptor steering wheel with paddle shifters, billet coolant tank, Whipple Supercharger, Stainless Works long tube headers and Borla Exhaust this daily driven rig is a ton more fun. Taking it from 350rwhp to 700rwhp it’s definitely not the same truck. Pretty incredible how a few bolt ons net you these type of gains. For sure we can see how these trucks are so popular. Can’t wait to build a few more of these. Very rowdy package!

This C7 LT1 Corvette came by for a few upgrades. A BTR PDS Stage 3 Camshaft, long tube headers and RST Clutch went in as the first stage to this cars new lease on life. Getting setup for a Procharger one day this combo is ready for that next step. With 480whp now it’ll be interesting what’s to come for this car.

Ole Bender. The Vega.

This car has always been one of the most fun cars to race, but working on it is definitely tests patience.

After chasing a few electrical gremlins and other small quirks, we decided it was time to start fresh and clean up the build. The LSA-supercharged 6.0L and 4L60 stayed the same… sort of.

Everything else came apart so we could rewire the entire car with an American Autowire harness. We also upgraded to a Holley Terminator X Max with a 6.86” dash and added a Nitrous Outlet system with a spray bar integrated into the LSA lid.

Once it was all together, we strapped it to the dyno for some nitrous tests and got enough of a tune up in it to head to Medicine Hat the next day for some testing before Power to the Pavement.

After a couple passes and shaking out the nerves, Ole Bender started telling us some knock-knock jokes, so we shut it down and headed home.

That kicked off a busy week. We put together a fresh short block with BTR forged pistons and rods, swapped the converter, filled it with fresh break-in oil, and put in a few late nights to get the car ready. By Friday morning of P2P, it was back together and running.

After a short test drive, it was back on the trailer and off to MHDRA.

First round, we were ready. The lights dropped, the car hooked hard, drove straight & fast. Then it grabbed second gear and snapped the throttle cable. Mother of pearl!

Not for lack of trying, just bad luck. We made a parts run into town, got the cable fixed, and managed to get some test and tune passes in before the weekend was over.

We’ll be back out chasing a new PB this year. For now it’s just time to enjoy the new setup and cruise the car.

We finished up some tuning on this Silverado. Once upon a time this pickup was a V6, now with new life as a cammed 6.0L LS it’s a ton more fun to drive. The manual transmission makes it even more of a riot to bomb around with. With 400hp on tap this setup doesn’t disappoint. Won’t get the miles per gallon the V6 did but the smiles per gallon more then make up for it!

We had this truck come back from a previous set of upgrades for round 2. The 6.0L swapped Silverado now got a fuel system upgrade thanks to a Deatschwerks Module and Injectors to help fuel the new addition of a Magnacharger 2.3L supercharger.

The 6.5lbs of boost is now taking this combo to 500rwhp which is a cool 100+ Hp more than it made before.

What an event!

If you missed Power to the Pavement this year, you missed a good one. Huge thanks to the Street Wheelers for putting on another awesome day of racing, and to MHDRA for keeping racers safe and providing a great venue. Congrats to all the winners… we’re already looking forward to next year.

We don’t say it enough, but we’re incredibly proud of our team. We couldn’t ask for a better group beside us building some of the coolest street cars around and then getting to race them together.

Jord and the ZBomb are officially back. After being down for a few seasons, we were already setting new PBs after a handful of passes and finally broke into the 9s.

Blake and the Acadian continue to turn heads everywhere. A street car that can autocross and drag race is pretty badass. First trip to the track and already a 10-second car! And we’re just getting started.

Aidan and the Camaro finally got his 10-second pass too. You work hard every run and it was awesome seeing you make the finals this weekend.

We also had several customers representing. Jerry and the SSR, along with Jayden and his 416ci 5th Gen, both made the finals and set new personal bests! Congrats to those guys.

Then there’s Kylar and the Vega. A bent rod a week ago, a complete engine rebuild, and somehow back at the track making passes. We didn’t get the PB we were chasing thanks to a throttle cable issue, but getting the car back together and running was a win in itself.

We’re incredibly fortunate to do what we do every day and even more fortunate to do it alongside such a talented group of people.

Another Clarke’s Tire & RPM Cards and Cars event is in the books, and all we can really say is WOW. Thank you!

To everyone who attended, participated, volunteered, donated, and supported the event, you are the reason it was such a huge success.

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to raise over $11,000 for MyCityCare and Not4Sale, which is truly incredible. On top of that, we awarded $1,600 to our Poker Run winners and gave away more than $3,500 in prizes throughout the evening.

We’re already looking forward to next year and finding ways to make it even bigger and better. The support from our community continues to amaze us, and we love being able to put on an event that offers something a little different while bringing people together for a great cause. It is quickly becoming our favorite way to “kick off” the summer!

A huge thank you to all of the businesses and individuals who donated prizes and helped make the night so much fun:
