Westshore Towing is currently looking for a full time experienced Deck Truck Operator.

Hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm with some emergency call out for police after those hours.

Operator must be proficient in all types of small excavators, skid steers, man lifts and fork lifts. As well lowered vehicles.

This is not your normal 9-5 job. It’s a lifestyle. Westshore Towing operates 24hrs/day. There could be early morning starts, with late night finishes.

The successful applicant, must live in Colwood, View Royal or Langford. To full fill our contracts that we have.

If you enjoy driving, like meeting new people and seeing new areas. Along with an at times challenging job. This may be the job for you.

Millions of dollars worth of equipment. Drivers missing dinner and time with their families.
Hours of payroll costs that get paid.
Companies paying out thousands of dollars to perform a cleanup to reopen the roadway...

Only to have no idea if you will get paid for it.

There is so much that goes into the services we provide and far too often companies just have to eat the costs and move on to the next one.

Towing & recovery is not for the weak but it's what we love. It's time the government and insurance companies realize the value that the good companies provide.

Thank you to all who have been reaching out to check on us today. Luckily we were not the ones involved in the motor vehicle incident today involving a motor home and tow truck.

However I do know the company involved as well as the driver. Our thoughts are with everyone involved, it could have been much worse.

It’s a harsh reality that towing roadside is dangerous. Please remember to slow down and move over for All Police, Fire, Ambulance,Tow Trucks and Highway Maintenance vehicles.

It’s not just a law that no one adheres to, but it’s the difference of whether we come home to our families or not.

One day it’s going to be a fatality and very different story.

Are you looking for something to do on weekends? Would you like to be apart of an essential service? Working alongside Police and Fire at motor vehicle incidents? Or maybe you just like to help out your community when their car has troubles?

We have the job for you. Part time Friday night 6pm to Sunday night 7pm.

You will be responsible for driving a tow truck or flat deck. Depending on experience.

No experience? No problem! If you can make time a few hours a day Monday thru Friday. We can train you. Hands on.

Give us a shout at 250-474-1369 or drop by our office Monday thru Friday 9am to 5pm.
