Another beautiful letter and drawing from our sponsored child Julia in Brazil!

Julia wrote to us sharing that she’s doing well in her studies, learning wonderful truths about God (that she is created in His image!), and enjoying her favorite worship songs — including “Mil Graus,” which she loves to dance to with her friends at the Project. She also sent us this bright, cheerful drawing of a house and flowers — we think it’s wonderful!

She asked us to keep praying for her and her family so everything may be prosperous and happy, and she is praying for us too (quoting Matthew 6:33). What a blessing it is to walk alongside her through Compassion!

🩷Wonderful news — we received our very first letter from Julia!🩷

We are so excited to share that our sponsored child in Brazil just sent her first letter through Compassion International!

In her letter, Julia told us she lives in a big city in Brazil with her mom, dad, and brother. She dreams of becoming a dentist when she grows up, and she even drew us a beautiful picture of a house and city scene! She also asked us a sweet question: “Do you have kids?”

We’re thrilled to be building this relationship with her and her family. Thank you for cheering us on as we walk alongside Julia!

Exciting news from the Giesbrecht Mechanical family! ❤️

We have recently started sponsoring a sweet 11-year-old girl named Julia through Compassion International.

Compassion is a Christian organization that partners with local churches in developing countries to release children from poverty in Jesus' name. Through sponsorship, kids like Julia receive practical care — including education, medical support, nutrition, vocational training, and most importantly, the hope of the gospel.

We’re thrilled to walk alongside Julia as she grows, and we’ll be sharing updates and letters from her here on our page as we receive them.
