"The best experience, went to Lake Country for a soccer event and ended up camping here! We had two dogs with us and having the option for a dog park that was off leash was so amazing! The welcome committee was amazing and everyone at the front desk was super accommodating! We had guests the whole time throughout our stay and not once was it a problem. Will be booking here again! Thank you all for the amazing stay and for going above and beyond to make our stay so much easier. They even had shower tokens delivered right to our campsite. Amazing! "- Cheyenne, July 2023

The Downtown Vernon Association kicks off the start of Summer, with one of Vernon's most iconic events...
The 32nd Annual Sunshine Festival!
As six city blocks in Downtown Vernon, are transformed into a vehicle-free playground for children and adults.
Speaking of vehicles: it's FREE PARKING DAY, all meters are free (on June 20th).
The 32nd Annual Sunshine Festival is a FREE event, that takes place from 10am-5pm on 30th Ave.
This festival will showcase our own downtown businesses and a some outside vendors. Play games, meet mascots, listen to live music, find new treasures, eat, dance, shop and so much more!
**We have some NEW SURPRISES in store for you and the kids!**
Grab the squad and bask under the Okanagan sun (or cloud) with these attractions and more, sprinkled throughout the event.
- The Food Zone consists of food trucks, picnic tables w/umbrellas, chairs under a large tent, the main stage for bands (on every hour from 10am - 5pm) and more. We will also have food vendors throughout.
- Children's activities can be found in The Kids Zone (the 2900 block). Find Games, Music, A Reptile Show, Face Painting, Balloon Animals and more.
- Countless vendors and eateries, plus food vendors throughout 30th and so, so much more.

"I chose WoodLake as part of our week-long road trip for purely practical reasons; it was close to Kelowna, and it had available sites.

Within moments of arriving, we realized that this was several steps above the practical: meticulously organized, thoughtfully laid out, and a destination in itself. Our lake-side site was easily accessible, the beach and washrooms meticulously maintained. Added services included bike and water sport rentals, children and dog play areas and a shave ice concession (!)
