Good morning everyone!
We hope your April is off to a great start!
We're excited to share that Shane will be stopping by the shop on April 9th and will be around for a few hours in the afternoon. It's been a while, so if you've been wanting to say hi, this is the perfect chance!

We'll also have Smitty’s Smokin’ Pig at the shop from 11-3, serving up their incredible smoked BBQ something you don't want to miss! Come by, grab some delicious food, and support an awesome local business.

Shane wanted to give everyone an update as many have came into the shop to ask. Hes been out of the hospital since Jan. 22nd. We are staying at an apartment for now till renovations are completed at the house to make it accessible. He spends his days mostly with nurses, home care, physio appointments and doctor appointments. Working on things as simple as transfering from the bed to the wheelchair. Theres good days and bad days but today was great, we got outside and enjoyed a weiner roast with the whole family for the first time in ages!!! He misses the shop and deeply appreciates all the continued support and love from the community 💜

Shane's at Your Door Auto is a locally owned business. Centrally located between Ladysmith and Duncan BC, and we are currently seeking 1 EXPERIENCED MECHANIC to join our team. We are looking to add a technician with a great attitude, who is a team player and has experience, also has a strong work ethic to join our team.
Do you have:
* A Journeyman Red Seal, or 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice
* Strong Diagnostics Skills in All Aspects of Automotive
* Dedicated to Quality Workmanship and Customer Satisfaction
* Possess detailed knowledge of shop industry
* Flexible shifts and casual dress.
Do you want to work 4 days a week? Positions available for Monday to Thursday, Tuesday to Friday and Wednesday to Saturday or do you want 5 days? Let's talk.
Wage will be dependent on qualifications and training levels. If you are looking to work in a busy shop, but also enjoy outdoor activities and have a balanced work life, then this is ideal work environment for you!

We are delighted to inform you that our shop is open for full service.
