🛑 Your brakes usually give you warning signs.

Are you listening?
Squealing?
Grinding?
Vibration?
Pulling to one side?

Those aren't things I'd recommend ignoring.

Some common signs your brakes deserve a closer look:
🔧 Squealing or grinding
🚗 Vibration when braking
↔️ Pulling to one side
🦶 Soft or spongy brake pedal
🛑 Longer stopping distances

A brake inspection can help identify a problem before it turns into a much more expensive repair.

And the best part? You don't necessarily have to take your vehicle anywhere.
Floyd's Auto Service comes to you. 🚐🔧

🚗 Out with the old, in with the new! 🔧

Cabin air filter replacement completed today at Floyd’s Auto Service!

The difference between these two filters says it all! 😳 A dirty cabin filter can restrict airflow and affect the air quality inside your vehicle.

When was the last time yours was changed? 🤔

⚾🔧 Proud to support local baseball!

This past season, Floyd’s Auto Service had the pleasure of sponsoring a Jr. T-Ball team and a 7U House League team with Georgina Minor Baseball Association!

Today, I received our sponsor plaque, and it was a great reminder of how important it is to support our local community and help give young players the opportunity to learn, grow, and fall in love with the game. ❤️⚾

A big thank you to GMBA for the recognition and for everything they do for baseball in Georgina!

At Floyd’s Auto Service, we’re proud to support the community we call home.

🔧 Tracking down a power steering leak!

This Dodge Caravan has a severely rotted power steering line that's leaking fluid. 😬

Replacement parts have been ordered, and I'll be heading out Wednesday to get this one taken care of!

Rust and corrosion can cause problems in places you might not expect. Catching them early can help prevent bigger headaches down the road.

🚗 Rough Idle? Morning Stall? We Come To You. 🔧

This customer was dealing with a rough running engine and random stalling — especially first thing in the morning.

The cause? A heavy gunky, oily residue mixed with moisture inside the throttle body. Overnight, that buildup was causing the throttle plate to stick, leading to unstable idle and stalling on cold start.
We performed:

-Complete throttle body service
-Professional MAF sensor cleaning

The result:
-Smooth cold starts
-Stable idle
-Improved throttle response
-No more stalling

Check out the before & after photos to see what was hiding inside 👀

Best part?

No tow truck. No waiting room. No wasted day.
