Back when you were in high school, did they actually offer Driverβs Ed as one of your classes?
For many Baby Boomers, Driverβs Education was an important part of growing up. Learning the rules of the road, studying signs, practicing behind the wheel, and preparing for that first driverβs license were all part of the experience.
For some students, Driverβs Ed meant sitting in a classroom learning the basics before finally getting behind the wheel. It was one of those classes that felt especially important because passing it brought you one step closer to the freedom of driving on your own.
It was more than just another school subject. It was preparation for independence, first cars, weekend adventures, and a whole new chapter of life.
Those old school memories may be decades behind us, but some classes are impossible to forget.
