Our hearts are full of gratitude as we thank the Ingersoll Hometown Hangout Committee, the Ingersoll Lions Club and our amazing community for their incredible support of Alexandra Hospital Foundation.

Hometown Hangout was more than just a great event. It was a beautiful reminder of what makes Ingersoll so special: people coming together, supporting one another, and celebrating the community we are proud to call home.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, participated, supported local businesses, and helped make the day such a success. We are deeply touched by the generous $9,000 donation to support local healthcare and by the spirit of kindness and community that made it possible.

10/10 Let’s do it again !!

Ingersoll, we are thrilled to share how your enthusiasm and turnout at the first annual Hometown Hangout has turned into support for two amazing organizations in our community.

The Ingersoll Lions Club B**r Garden at Hometown Hangout raised $4500 for the Alexandra Hospital Foundation. Hometown Hangout has matched that donation, totalling $9000 in support for the Alexandra Hospital Foundation. In addition, Hometown Hangout is also donating $4500 to the Food Project, supporting their work across Oxford County. We are so thrilled to support both of these organizations and the important work they do in Ingersoll.

We can’t thank you enough for coming out to celebrate our hometown this past weekend. The success of the first-ever Hometown Hangout really speaks to the kind of community we have in Ingersoll. We have heard so much positive feedback and genuine excitement about our town. Thank you for sharing in this with us!

Our organizing committee is gathering next week to review the event and finalize our donations to our charity partners, which we will announce on Wednesday August 26. Stay tuned for more from the Hometown Hangout team!
