Today, Walt and Cassandra delivered all of the items that had been collected over the last two months to the Oak Table and were reminded of what an amazing community we are a part of.

We want to take a moment to say a HUGE thank you to everyone including our amazing customers and staff who came forward to help collect the items that were needed along with donating to the GoFundMe page created. All of the items and proceeds from the GoFundMe page go directly towards helping Winnipeg’s most vulnerable.

The GoFundMe page created gave those who wanted to donate, as well as those who needed a little incentive a way to double the impact of their donation as Walt matched every donation that came in getting us to reach our $10,000 goal set.

As a community we were able to brighten up January the gloomiest month for many guests at the Oak Table. Thank you everyone for the support. We saw first hand today that it truly does go a long way 🙏
