Coronavirus - COVID -19 Virus Update
(March 19, 2020)
In these times of uncertainty, we are committed to keeping our patients, staff and our local community safe. This is our top priority! As you know we have closed our clinic this week until further notice.
We hope that you are all staying healthy and are all working together to keep your families safe.
We are following the advice from our Government and Public Health Officials and we hope you listen carefully to them as well. This is not the time to panic but to be thoughtful and mindful of others.
While we are all wondering what is around the corner, we should be doing our part as we wait out this crisis. Social distancing is important to keeping the virus from spreading so quickly. So stay away from each other as much as possible and avoid touching high traffic surfaces. It has been reported that we touch our mouths over 90 times per day!
Many of us, including myself, sometimes take our health for granted. We are truly blessed as compared to others around the world. I am painfully aware that there are many that don't have our luxuries, whether they are elderly or those who do not have easy access to food, transportation or healthcare.
Be patient and thoughtful of others. We are also grateful to the countless individuals that continue to provide us with essentials, from the grocery store staff to hospitals, fire, police, pharmacies... and the list goes on!
