I stopped doing drift car stuff overnight, after doing my first Enduro, about 6 years ago.
There is a reason for it. This is the most incredible racing you'll ever watch. Nearly 100 cars (sometimes even more) battling it out on a 3/8 Paved oval, 4&6 Cyl cars, 2wd only, 400tw tire minimum and no modifications. Real drivers win these races. Simple cars with simple preparation go a long way, but it all comes down to the driver - real racing!

Why the '02 Maxima SE? While a heavy car on the street, once receiving a diet (all non essential street car stuff) , it's "90s" platform is pretty light, and the VQ35DE + 6MT w/LSD packs quite the punch. The support from A&A gave us the ability to prepare the car right, and found us all the hard to find maintenance parts for this 22 year old car! I like this car for the short sprint races as it is tough, and fast...just a little hard on tires and brakes! I like to use the Celica GTS ('01,2zz+6MT) for the longer races as it is easier to keep tires on, a lot lighter and a lot smaller. Just not as tough or fast--important on short races.
