911 OUTAGE: OPP has received reports of intermittent 911 outages in parts of the province. The public is urged to call the OPP non-emergency line at 1-888-310-1122, which remains in service, if they are unable to call 9-1-1 and require emergency police services.

OPP continues to respond to calls for service during this outage. The issue is being investigated and further updates will be provided as information becomes available. ^pia

Today, we honour and remember the brave firefighters who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities.

In recognition of Firefighters’ National Memorial Day, we lower our flags to half-mast as a tribute to those who gave their lives protecting others.

Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten. We also stand with the families, friends, colleagues, and fellow firefighters who continue to carry their memory forward.
